Terms of use
Version of 10 October 2026
Stakvue is run by Digital Reframe. It is the technology register for AEC practices: a place to map the software your practice uses across project stages and disciplines, and to share it. Stakvue is in early access. Where we say “we”, we mean Digital Reframe. How we handle your data is in the privacy policy.
Your account
You sign in with a link we email you, so an account is one person with one email address. There is no password. If you start a practice without an invite, you become its owner.
Practices and roles
- A practice has one owner. Everyone else is an admin, an editor or a viewer.
- Owners can do everything, including practice settings, transferring ownership and deleting the practice. Admins run maps and people, except the owner. Editors build, publish and share maps. Viewers view and comment.
- You join a practice by invite. An invite is valid for 30 days. A guest’s invitation to a map doesn’t run out on its own; their access ends on the date you set, or when you remove them.
Your maps and what you share
What you put in your practice stays in your practice. You decide what leaves it:
- A public link shows the last published version of a map to anyone who has the link. Check what a map shows before you share it. Items you switch off for shared links, and notes you mark internal, are left out.
- Owners and admins can close any public link. Owners, admins and editors can pause, change and retire a map’s link.
- Guests you invite see the live working copy of the maps you share with them, without what is switched off or marked internal.
- If you send a map to someone by email, or move or copy it to another of your practices, it carries everything on the map, including items not shown on shared links, except notes marked internal. Those never leave your practice: a move deletes them with the original.
What Digital Reframe does with the data
- Your maps, your views: no one outside your practice sees them unless you invite them. Digital Reframe sees your practice’s name and counts, not its maps.
- We use the products practices map only in aggregated, anonymised form. Named practices are visible only to Digital Reframe admins, and anything shared outside Digital Reframe is aggregated.
- To match products to our catalogue, we see the names of products as your practice typed them, and how many practices use each. Tools your practice built in-house are never queued, visible or counted.
Where your data is held
Your data is held in Europe, on Supabase’s servers in Dublin, Ireland. Supabase is a US company, so US law, such as the CLOUD Act, can reach that data even though it is held in Europe. Starting a practice means accepting this. If your practice can’t accept these hosting terms, it should not use Stakvue for now.
Leaving and deleting
Anyone but the owner can leave a practice; the owner hands it to an admin first. What a person made stays in the practice, shown as “A former member”. You can delete your account: for each practice you own, you choose whether to hand it to an admin or delete it. An owner can delete a practice, which deletes everything in it, including its maps, library and share links.
